A lightweight over-patient work surface that improves workflow and patient safety during retrograde femoral access procedures.
The Retrograde IR Platform is the ultimate support for your equipment needs, providing a large, stable area for catheter/guide wire manipulation and management. The height adjustable work surface conveniently aligns with the femoral access site and improves patient comfort by eliminating the need to work directly on or around the patient’s legs.
The Retrograde IR Platform is exceptionally light, strong, radiolucent, and extremely easy to install by placing over the legs of a supine patient while they rest on the imaging table. The platform can be locked in place to ensure security during instances of patient restlessness.
Equipped with an optional extension, the platform can be set-up at two different lengths according to your requirements. The main platform is well-suited for procedures utilising shorter wires and rapid exchange catheter systems. The extended platform is suited for neuro radiology and procedures where longer equipment is required.
Bringing the large working surface closer to the access site allows for the team to work together side by side.
Placing the procedural equipment over the patient rather than behind on a draped trolley, reduces the requirement to retrieve equipment from behind.
The legs lock into the base to ensure the work surface is secure when you need it to be, even if the patient is restless.
Suitable for supporting clinicians' wrists and common equipment for interventional radiology procedures
Designed for easy set-up and removal
Creates a large, adjustable work-surface for laying procedural equipment
Can be adjusted to suit individual patient size
Made from materials that are permeable to X-ray radiation, allowing for clear imaging
If a longer work-surface is required to allow operators to work side by side, the optional extension can easily be added
Smooth surface allows easy clean-up with approved cleaners and disinfectants
