The Adept Medical Armstrong Ventilation Tube has a bevelled inner flange, resembling the tympanic membrane to aid insertion, retention, and visibility. The outer flange adds additional security to prevent premature extrusion.
The Modified Armstrong is angled to further facilitate ease of insertion into the incision.
The Tail variant is offered to provide ease of engagement with forceps, facilitating tube insertion and removal.
